The Mayfield Historical Society will hold its Annual Ice Cream Social on Thursday, July 20, from 6 to 8 pm at The Rice Homestead, 328 Riceville Road, Mayfield.  Local popular musician Dan Lynaugh will perform.  Cake, ice cream, and lemonade will be available for a $5 donation, $3 for children 8 and under, cash or check. Free tours, spinning and chair weaving demonstrations, Oliver's Trail, Heritage Gardens, "Oliver's Attic" Sale, and the special summer exhibit "School Days" will be featured.  For more information, contact 518-332-0538.  Rain venue is Mayfield Presbyterian Church, 22 N. Main St., Mayfield.
