The Frederic Remington Art Museum will open its doors for an evening of music and mystery for Ameriga Vespucci’s 1859 Masquerade Ball at the Parish Mansion on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 7pm-9pm. Join the Grasse River Players and the North Country Connections Orchestra as they present the story of Ameriga Vespucci’s life through vignettes including skits, songs, scenes and the legendary poker game that brought her to Ogdensburg, NY.

Masquerade balls have inspired mystery, lust, and decadent costume parties for centuries — each with a shocking and sometimes intriguing history - this evening will be no different. Guests are encouraged to wear masquerade ball masks to hide their identities.
