National Trails Day: Grand Opening of Shared-Use Trail at Hickory Ridge Preserve

Celebrate National Trails Day and the grand opening of a new, environmentally sustainable shared-use trail system, accessible to beginner and advanced hikers, mountain bikers, and adaptive mountain bikers at Hickory Ridge Preserve (formerly West Hill Preserve) in Naples, NY. Join The Nature Conservancy, the Town of Naples, Genesee Regional Off-road Cyclists, and Finger Lakes Trail Conference for a family-friendly event featuring an informative walking tour led by Adam Reitz of Further Trail Services. Attendees will learn about the surprising art and science behind trail construction as well as best practices on shared-use trails. After the tour, attendees are welcome to hike or bike on their own.
