Macramé Plant Holder Workshop

Time: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
Location: 155 N. Ohioville Road, New Paltz, NY, 12561
Discover the art of macrame, a centuries-old craft that originated with 13th-century Arabic weavers who used intricate knotting techniques to decorate textiles. This versatile and meditative art form has made a resurgence in modern home decor, and now's your chance to try it firsthand.
During this workshop, you'll learn the three most essential macrame knots—the foundational techniques for countless macrame projects. By mastering these key knots, you'll develop the skills and confidence to create a variety of beautiful handmade pieces beyond the workshop.
Each participant will receive all the essentials: premium macrame cord, tools, a plant, soil, and a stylish pot. Plus, a complimentary cider!
