In existence for more than 30 years, the Oswego Music Hall offers mostly acoustical musicians every other Saturday night from September to June. On concert evenings, a large empty hall is transformed into an intimate venue replete with candlelit tables, professional staging and sound; as well as an array of freshly baked desserts, hot cider and freshly brewed coffee.
This week, Cliff Eberhardt take the Music Hall Stage with special guest, Louise Mosrie. Eberhardt has been a fixture on the national singer-songwriter stage for 30 years - first playing guitar for folk legend Richie Havens, Melanie and The Band, then securing his own status as a formidable songwriter with his epic debut "The Long Road" on Windham Hill Records. Nine albums of critical acclaim and millions of miles later, he continues to wow audiences with his humorous stories, sophisticated song style and dynamic guitar performances. His songs have been cut by Richie Havens, Shawn Colvin, Buffy St. Marie, David Broza, Lucy Kaplansky, Richard Shindell (Cry, Cry, Cry), Erasure, Russ Taff and many more.
Mosrie is a young Southern soul folk-oriented artist who has been compared to Patty Griffin and Susan Tedeschi.
