George Eastman Museum continues the colorful legacy and tradition of George Eastman, filling the conservatory and palm house with more than 2,000 tulips, hyacinths, daffodils, amaryllis, and freesias, in vibrant shades of white, yellow, rosy pink, soft orange, salmon copper, scarlet, plum, lavender and deep blue — the same colors Eastman featured 100 years ago. During Eastman's residency at the house between 1905 and 1932, he ordered tens of thousands of bulbs from Holland every year (except 1918, when a wartime coal shortage forced him to close his greenhouses) to decorate his Conservatory. The two-week display is a welcome treat for the eyes and nose in the midst of winter. Experience this splash of spring while visiting the stunning mansion.

This week, Rock n' roll meets folk when the band Driftwood takes the Oswego Music Hall stage! Combining upright bass, banjo, acoustic guitar and violin with their rock vibe, Driftwood brings a unique and exciting folk/rock sound to Oswego Music Hall's winter line up.

3 singer/songwriters. 1 stage One love!

The "Ghost Town Ramblers" are comprised of singer songwriters Lou Kaplan and Kay Miracle. Combining their love of American roots music, Lou and Kay decided to take the road less traveled and formed an all original duo featuring harmony laden vocals and acoustic instrumentation. Armed with an extensive portfolio of original material, Lou and Kay hit the studio hard with Mick Walker and recorded 12 songs to be released in the spring of 2018. The Duo is a fusion of Lou's Outlaw roots (Mad Jack, National recording artist Savoy Brown, Last Train Out, Lonesome Crow) and Kay's Americana Folk Rock sound (Miracle Sisters, 5 time Sammy award winner Reckless Drivin', Kay & the Miracle Cure). Together as the "Ghost Town Ramblers" Lou and Kay deliver their unique sound in a roots revival of America's heartland in Upstate New York.

Cam Caruso is a 23-year-old singer-songwriter from Oswego, NY. With two original EP's and a full length album under his belt, this Indie-Pop musician can be found performing out as many as 5 times per week. Caruso spent his first two years of college in Missouri studying music and traveling across the country singing in various ensembles. Half way through school Cam transferred back home to attend SUNY Oswego where he finished his degree in Audio Recording and Production. His final school project consisted of recording a full length album that he engineered, produced, composed, and performed on. Cam graduated in August of 2017 and his album, On The Other Side, was released two months later. For more information visit: camcarusomusic.com.

Corey Paige is a SAMMY Award winning singer-songwriter from Syracuse, NY. His influences include Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Elvis Costello, and Soul Coughing. After five studio albums and 15 years as front-man for rock band Candid, he's currently working on new material for his first solo album. For more information find Corey on facebook.

In existence for more than 30 years, the Oswego Music Hall offers mostly acoustical musicians every other Saturday night from September to June. On concert evenings, a large empty hall is transformed into an intimate venue replete with candlelit tables, professional staging and sound; as well as an array of freshly baked desserts, hot cider and freshly brewed coffee.

This week, enjoy the creative edge of master storyteller, Joe Crookston. His music swirls with themes of lightness, darkness, clocks ticking, fiddle looping, weeping willows, slide guitar bending, cynicism, hope, and the cycles of life and rebirth. If you love a moving song and musical madness, Joe Crookston delivers it all, the melodies, the lyrics, the energy, and a deep passion for exceptionally well-written songs.
