Celebrate our nation's birth! Join us for our annual Independence Day Celebration at GCV&M – the perfect opportunity to gather with friends and family. Enjoy a 19th-century style parade, pie-eating contest, hands-on games and activities, recitation of the Declaration of Independence, and more. Grab hot dogs and hamburgers from the Depot Restaurant while listening to patriotic tunes played from the bandstand on the Great Meadow throughout the day, learn about how 19th-century Americans may have celebrated Independence Day as you wander through the village, and so much more!

Using breath, movement, and fire, three nationally recognized artists will feature live glassmaking demonstrations, transforming 2100°F molten glass into masterfully crafted works of art. A member of the team will narrate everything being done on stage to give audiences a detailed breakdown of the processes and techniques of the medium.

Demonstrations will start each hour and will run for about 45 minutes at a time.

The internationally recognized Corning Museum of Glass is bringing their state-of-the-art Mobile Hotshop 18-wheeler to View for five days of artistic creation.

Using breath, movement, and fire, three nationally recognized artists will feature live glassmaking demonstrations, transforming 2100°F molten glass into masterfully crafted works of art. A member of the team will narrate everything being done on stage to give audiences a detailed breakdown of the processes and techniques of the medium.

Demonstrations will start each hour and will run for about 45 minutes at a time.

Since 1988, Harborfest has brought to its stages more than 600 national, regional and local performing artists on an admission free basis, providing quality entertainment and memorable experiences for people of all ages from the arts and crafts and the Jazz and Blues Stage in Washington Square Park (East Park), the Veteran’s Stage at River Walk West, the Midway on the north end of West 1st Street, the Children’s Park and the Lakeview Stage at Breitbeck Park and the world famous Grucci Fireworks display in the Harbor.

This family-fun tradition since 1886 features midway rides, live music, a circus, petting zoo, racing pigs, truck and tractor pulls, 4-H animal exhibits, livestock shows, fireworks, favorite fair food and more.

Headline concert acts are The Marshall Tucker Band, Jake Hoot, Raelynn, Frankie Justin, Mark Wills, and Joe Adee & The Lug Nuts.

Pay-one-price admission (includes rides & entertainment): $50/carload July 30 (up to 8 occupants); $20 July 31 - Aug. 6. Kids under 36" tall admitted free (rides not included).

Fair hours: 4-10 pm July 30, 10 am-10 pm July 31 - Aug. 1, 10 am-11 pm Aug. 2-3, 10 am-8 pm Aug. 4
