Participants will construct a replica 9ft. Penn Yan “Aerodinghy” over seven two-day weekends. There are no age restrictions to take the course. A maximum of eight people are invited to register for each workshop in the series.

These works showcase his aesthetic journey from the 1980s to present in distinctive explorations of form, composition and meaning. Two books- John Van Alstine: Sculpture 1970-2018 and American Vistas: The Life and Art of John Van Alstine - cover the artist’s life and evolution of his art through his artworks in national and international public and private collections, and will be available for sale in the Gift Shop.
The exhibition is organized by the Artist and Caroline M. Welsh, Art historian and Curator.

Pay-one-price admission (includes rides & entertainment): $50/carload July 30 (up to 8 occupants); $20 July 31 - Aug. 6. Kids under 36" tall admitted free (rides not included).
