The Cape Winery
The Cape Winery vineyards boast a unique soil structure which imparts a wonderful flavor to the grapes
The Cape Winery and Deerlick Farm Vineyards are located on historic Deerlick Farm. These vineyards have a unique soil structure on a base of limestone bedrock which imparts a wonderful flavor to the grapes.
This combined with the cool breezes from Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence River create the perfect micro-climate for grape production. One of the newest wineries on the Thousand Island Seaway Wine Trail, The Cape Winery is making a name for itself as a house of excellent dry wines, although the winery does also make semi-sweet and sweet wines.
In 2016, the winery opened a tasting room located at 342 E Broadway in Cape Vincent, attached to Aubrey's French Towne Market.
