Lapland Lake Nordic Vacation Center
Lapland is a four-season woodland retreat that offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter, kayaking, canoeing,hiking & biking in summer.
Founded by former U.S. Olympian Olavi Hirvonen, this four-season woodland retreat offers year-round cottage rentals and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. The more than 30 miles of scenic ski and snowshoe trails are surrounded by the pristine southern Adirondack Forest Preserve and are available for all abilities, from beginner to expert.
During the spring, summer and fall seasons, overnight guests have access to the stunning 70-acre, Woods Lake. Complete with private sandy beach, this non-motor lake offers exceptional swimming, fishing, kayaking and canoeing with complimentary use of kayaks, canoes, rowboats and paddle boats.
The center’s 30-mile private trail system is available for hiking and mountain biking and there is also an enjoyable three-mile self-guided nature trail.
Lapland Lake offers meticulous snow cat grooming, a two-story warming lodge, full rental-retail shops, PSIA ski instruction, children's tubing, ice-skating and food service.
