Since 1997, the Northeast Classic Car Museum has been collecting, preserving and exhibiting vehicles related to the evolution of transportation, especially the impact the automobile has had on American culture.

On display are more than 170 vehicles from 1899 through the early 1980s throughout five connected buildings. Permanent exhibits feature pre-war and post-war vehicles, the world’s largest collection of Franklins, and cars made in New York State.

The museum also features period-correct clothing among the vehicles, a collection of WWI and WWII airplane engines and a tribute to Bennett Ireland.
