Lake George Battleground State Campground
Lake George Battleground State Campground is also near Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Parkway, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding area.
Just 1/4 mile south of the Village of Lake George and near Prospect Mountain Veterans Memorial Parkway, this campground offers many spectacular views of the surrounding area. It is also close to many historical locations like Lake George Battlefield Day Use Area, where campers can view the remains of the numerous military activities that took place on and around the campground location during the colonial period.
The campground features 68 tent and trailer sites, hot showers, flush toilets, trailer dump station, recycling center, nearby hiking and swimming at Lake George "Million Dollar" Beach. It also offers mobile impaired accessibility with 10 universal camp sites, new bath house with unisex room.
PET POLICY: Leashed pets are welcome on the campsite but not on the beach.
