Long Point State Park on Lake Chautauqua
Activities include biking, canoeing, kayaking, hiking and fishing while in winter, visitors can cross-country ski, snowmobile or ice fish.
Created long ago by a retreating glacier, this 320-acre day-use park and marina on Lake Chautauqua offers a modern boat launch while the lake provides excellent fishing opportunities including the most popular, muskies (muskellunge), as well as bass, perch, pike and other types of fish. Other activities include biking, canoeing, kayaking and hiking along with a swimming beach and bath house.
In winter, visitors can cross-country ski, snowmobile or ice fish.
Park amenities include boat rentals, grills, pavilions, picnic tables, playground and more.
Household pets only; caged or on a leash not more than 10 feet. No pets at bathing areas, public buildings or on cross-country ski trails.
