Evangola State Park's beautiful arc-shaped shoreline and natural sand beach on Lake Erie feature low cliffs of Angola shale that line the edge of the beach. In addition to swimming, the park has picnic facilities, baseball and soccer fields, tennis and basketball courts, and a nature center in the campground area.

The park also provides campsites, cabins and yurts, for glamping. The yurts are wood lattice framed structures with heavy duty re-enforced fabric sides and insulated liners. They have windows, a domed roof and wood floors. State Park yurts include six cots and mattresses as well as a refrigerator and a microwave.

Household pets only; caged or on a leash not more than 6 feet. Not allowed in bathing areas, buildings or on improved walkways and boardwalks. For campers, if your site allows pets, there is a two-pet maximum.
