Renowned as the “Grand Canyon of the East,” Letchworth State Park is one of the most magnificent and scenic places in the eastern U.S. any time of the year.

The Genesee River roars through the gorge over three major waterfalls between cliffs and winter hikers can choose among 66 miles of trails that are also available snow tubing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

In 2015, Letchworth won the USA TODAY Readers’ Choice Award for Best State Park in the United States.
