Dewey Mountain Recreation Center
In the warmer months, the center is open for walking, hiking and mountain biking on its trails
Owned by the Town of Harrietstown, Dewey Mountain Recreation Center is located on the edge of the Village of Saranac Lake.
Dewey has regular hours for its cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter with lighted nighttime skiing available. In the warmer months, the center is open for walking, hiking and mountain biking on its trails.
Other amenities include a warming lodge with cocoa, coffee and restrooms open during winter,
ski and snowshoe rentals and a wax room with benches and irons for ski prep.
Dogs are permitted on snowshoe trails; Wednesday-only on ski trails.
