Designed in 1925 by Seymour Dunn, the 18-hole course was renamed in 1954 for Lake Placid native and US Open and Masters champion Craig Wood.
 

Club amenities include a full-service Pro Shop and Golf School and The Cocktail Lounge and Restaurant, open for lunch and dinner daily. Craig Wood Golf Club also offers a driving range, chipping and putting areas and has a PGA Pro available for lessons.
