Ride your own Rail Car in the Adirondacks
A rail bike trip through Adirondack Scenic Rail Bike Adventures allows you to take in all the Adirondacks has to offer
Adirondack Scenic Rail Bike Adventures invites you to travel on the rails over rivers and streams and taking in the natural beauty of Upstate New York while enjoying a rare glimpse at nature and its wildlife.
The company offers a one-way 6-mile trip from either Carter Station in Old Forge to Thendara Station in Thendara (or visa versa) and then enjoy a special railcar people transporter back to your station of departure.
Also offered are round-trip rail bike rides or a rail biking and scenic train package. Each rail bike seats four people.
Pets are not allowed at this time, but check their website as pet-friendly bikes are being fabricated and will be available in the future.
