At 7,650 feet long, the exciting Cliffside Mountain Coaster at Mt. Van Hoevenberg is the longest mountain roller coaster in the country, beating out the ones in the Smoky Mountains and in Colorado.

The 1.4-mile-long Cliffside Coaster emulates an Olympic bobsled experience, running alongside the actual bobsled tracks used in the 1980 Winter Games. Each individual “cliff car” is equipped with an audio system that describes what it was like to be an Olympic bobsledder as you head up to the top of the hill. Once there, you as the rider will gain control of the car, navigating the track's twists and turns and determining your own speed for the breathtaking journey down the cliff.

While there, check out all of the other fun new things to do including ziplining, an eight-person gondola and a renovated glass-enclosed elevator along with the center’s other activities like cross-country skiing, mountain biking, hiking and the skeleton and extreme bobsledding experiences.
