The village of Bemus Point, seated on lovely Chautauqua Lake, provides a free public boat launch with hard ramp surface and a large public parking lot with space for 30 cars/trailers. The launch is not recommended for boats over 16 feet.
The village itself offers a public dock, sand/grass mixed beach with swimming, picnic area with playground, fishing, a 9-hole golf course, tennis courts, basketball courts. There are also restaurants and unique shops, along with the opportunity to ride the Bemus Point-Stow Ferry, a century old conveyance.
