The Albany Symphony presents a reimagined Beethoven Birthday Bash, which will include breath-taking pieces that fully celebrate the legendary composer and his 250th birthday on Saturday, December 12 at 7:30pm. The event will be streamed from The Palace Theatre. // This concert begins with Beethoven's Overture & Finale to The Creatures of Prometheus and ends with Symphony No. 1. The evening also includes Michael Torke’s Ash, composed in 1988 for orchestra or chamber orchestra, and Viet Cuong’s Extra (Ordinarily) Fancy, a fun and uplifting piece for two oboes. // The 2020-2021 season continues to run through the American Music Festival in June.
