Putnam Fall for Dance” highlights American Modern Dance pioneers as well as contemporary new works at Arts on the Lake, Saturday, Oct. 7th & Monday, Oct. 9th, 2023. Arts on the Lake will showcase dancers on the Boyd Family Concert Lawn dance stage for the first ever “Putnam Fall for Dance”. Putnam Fall for Dance has two unique performances. A Saturday matinee presents established companies: Putnam County Dance Project (PCDP), Dances by Isadora/NYC, and the The Erick Hawkins Dance Company, while the Monday performance features new and in-progress works by a variety of regional choreographers followed by conversation. The Second Day of the Putnam Fall for Dance project brings "Open Stage", a showcase for new and in-progress works by a variety of regional choreographers followed by conversation and commentary
