Saratoga Outdoors, formerly one of several Mountainman Outdoor Supply Company locations in Upstate New York, was rebranded in the fall of 2023, after original Mountainman owner John Nemjo sold the Mountainman business and its original location in the Adirondack town of Old Forge to new owners.

Though the name has changed, Saratoga Outdoors has retained the same spirit that made it a success when it was a Mountainman location. It remains in the same storefront on Broadway in Saratoga Springs as it has since it was first established as a Life is Good t-shirt shop under the Mountainman umbrella in the 2000s. It is the only former Mountainman location owned by John Nemjo, who founded the business in 1993 to share his love of the outdoors and help outfit fellow enthusiasts with canoes, kayaks, gear and apparel they would need to get the most out of their wilderness experiences.

More than 30 years later, Saratoga Outdoors is still true to his vision, specializing in selling quality items from the most trusted brands in the outdoor industry. The shop prides itself on offering a unique, one-stop shopping experience for all adventures, and helping people find the supplies they need to have a safe, enjoyable time outdoors, no matter where their journeys take them.

A complete outdoor specialty retail store, Saratoga Outdoors has proven popular with the locals and tourists alike, whether they’re looking to hike the High Peaks of the Adirondacks, get a folding chair for a concert at nearby Saratoga Performing Arts Center, or grab a pair of comfortable shoes for a day at the Saratoga Race Course.
